Black and grey warrior x lion tattoo. A client had asked for a distinctive tattoo that had a lion’s face whilst also shadowing a warrior that was merging into certain parts of the tattoo. 

The lion tattoo represents strength, courage, leadership, and power, symbolizing a person’s inner resilience and ability to overcome challenges. It can also signify family and protection, while for women it may embody confidence and independence. Historically, lions have been linked to royalty, and in various cultures, they represent patriotism or a connection to the sun’s energy

These tattoos can signify personal triumphs, honor, loyalty, and the courage to face challenges, whether physical, emotional, or spiritual. Designs can vary widely, from historical warrior figures and symbols from various cultures (like Celtic, Maori, or Japanese) to more abstract representations like swords, shields, or armour

This tattoo was done over two sittings, as the client was limited with time on the first tattoo session. We also added some colour into the lion’s eyes to make the tattoo have some more contrast.
